The summer sun may be a distant memory but things are just starting to hot up in the sporting calendar. We have welcomed more new sports and leagues to the BETR apps including NFL, an eagerly anticipated event, and we’re seeing healthy betting numbers already.
In addition to NFL, we will be adding other American sports such as NHL, facing off on October 3rd and NBA jumping into action on October 16th. The drama of the Champions league campaign has also kicked off for many European teams. Meanwhile the tech team are busy developing the horseracing product, a more complex challenge with some changes required to the smart contacts. We will keep you posted but this may take some time still.
During the last few weeks several updates have been released on the apps with improvements and added functionality. More in -play games have been added across the five major European football leagues as well as the ability to lay entire leagues for those playing the bookie role. We also have signed off a new design brief to revamp the look and usability of the apps and wallet to ensure a more seamless betting experience.
We’ve also introduced a new support ticketing system on the apps and websites, which allows users to log any issues or feedback they have on the products. Betting numbers are continually rising and we are still running our free ETH top up to cover gas costs – make sure you take advantage of this promotion.
In other news, we had a very successful Betting on Sports conference last week hosted by SBC Events at Olympia, London. This was a great opportunity spread the BETR word through live product demonstrations, while Adriaan’s panel discussions brought positive attention.
We were pleased to be shortlisted for the ‘Best Crypto Gaming Platform’ award at the CEEGC awards on the 25th September which we narrowly missed out on. Bring on the next awards opportunity for BETR! CTO Steve Gray was also representing the team at Blockchain Live on 26th September in London which was a key event to showcase the new, improved BETR apps.
